No. Your proposal content is never used to train AI models. Our provider (DeepSeek) contractually does not use API traffic for training. Prompts are retained for 30 days for debugging, then deleted.

Yes - every proposal is fully editable. Open the AI Editor (/editor) for in-place rewrite, tone changes (professional, friendly, persuasive), expand, shorten, fix-grammar, and translation. Your edit history is saved so you can revert.

AI-generated text is a starting point, not a finished document. Always review pricing, scope, legal terms, and any specific claims before sending. We make no warranty that AI output is factually accurate or fit for a specific purpose.

Proposals and quotes are fine for general business use. For binding contracts (employment, real estate, IP assignment), have a lawyer review the output. Our Service Agreement and SOW templates are a starting point, not legal advice.

From any proposal, click "Share Link". We generate a unique URL (e.g. proposalsgen.com/p/abc123) that shows only that single proposal - no account access, no other documents. Anyone with the link can view until you disable or expire it.

For each shared proposal: total views, unique visitors, device breakdown (desktop/mobile/tablet), average time on page, average scroll depth, and sign-click events. The dashboard shows 30-day trends and per-document stats.

Password protection is available on Pro plans. Set a password when creating the link - viewers will be prompted before they can see the proposal. Useful for sensitive pricing or pre-launch deals.

No - visitor tracking is anonymous by design. We see a browser-local visitor ID (stored in localStorage), IP-derived country, device type, and engagement metrics. We do not attempt to deanonymize viewers. You'll know someone looked, but not who.

By default, no - links stay active until you disable them. You can optionally set an expiry date when creating a link, useful for time-bound quotes and proposals with a "valid until" clause.

Yes - our signatures are designed to comply with the U.S. ESIGN Act (15 U.S.C. § 7001) and the EU eIDAS Regulation. We maintain audit logs for 7 years including IP, device info, and timestamps. However, some documents (wills, real estate, certain family law) require additional formalities - check your local jurisdiction.

When you share a proposal, the viewer clicks "Accept & Sign". They're taken to a signing page where they confirm their identity (name + email), review the proposal, and apply their signature. Both parties receive an audit-trail record. The document status updates to "signed" on your dashboard.

Your proposals and account data are stored in Supabase (encrypted at rest, hosted on AWS). AI prompts are sent to DeepSeek for processing and retained for 30 days. Payment data is handled by Creem - we never see or store your full card number.

Yes. Export any proposal as PDF or JSON from the dashboard. Account settings has a "delete account" option that permanently removes all proposals, share links, signatures, and analytics within 30 days. You can also request a data export by emailing privacy@proposalsgen.com.

No. We don't sell personal data to third parties. We don't use third-party advertising cookies. The only data sharing is with our infrastructure vendors (Supabase, DeepSeek, Creem, Vercel), each bound by data processing agreements.

Yes. EU/UK users have full GDPR rights including access, rectification, erasure, and the right to object to processing. You can lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe we've mishandled your data.
